AVID Electronics Corp., established in 1996 in Hsinchu Science Park and listed on the OTC market in 2005, is a professional design company that specializes in the production and sale of self-made ICs. AVID has a rich history, having once been the world's largest scanner AFE IC supplier and currently holding the position as the world's largest CD Discman IC supplier.

AVID boasts three main product lines and eight product solution designs:

The System on Chip (SoC) product line, which focuses on selling audio and video related ICs.

The Analog IC product line, primarily selling power and lighting driver ICs.

The Wireless transmission system chip product line.

In addition, AVID designs eight product solutions including external hard drive enclosures, dash cams, Bluetooth speakers, SD cards & USB flash drives, SSDs, wireless charging devices, smart sweepers, and smart displays.
