The DEMO-CR95HF-A, developed by STMicroelectronics, is an exceptional demonstration kit designed to effectively evaluate the performances of the CR95HF 13.56 MHz multiprotocol contactless transceiver. The kit comes pre-packaged with a ready-to-use board prepared to interface with the CR95HF host PC demonstration software via a USB interface. One major advantage of this device is that it operates on power supplied exclusively through the USB bus. This negates the need for any external power supply, keeping things mess-free and convenient.
At the heart of the kit is the CR95HF contactless transceiver. Further assisting this transceiver is a 47 x 34 mm 13.56 MHz inductive etched antenna and all its associated tuning components. By default, the CR95HF communicates with the STM32F103CB 32-bit microcontroller via the SPI bus, but it can be alternated to UART interface if needed. After initialization, the DEMO-CR95HF-A starts a tag tracking process. The presence of an RFID or NFC tag is indicated by the lit LED.
As a professional STMicroelectronics distributor, Nantian Electronics has a large number of DEMO-CR95HF-A in stock. We also provide DEMO-CR95HF-A parameters, DEMO-CR95HF-A Datasheet PDF and pin diagram instructions for download.

Common Questions
Does the DEMO-CR95HF-A require an external power supply?
No, the DEMO-CR95HF-A does not require an external power supply. The device is powered via the USB bus, hence an external power supply is not needed.
Can the communication interface of DEMO-CR95HF-A be changed from SPI bus to something else?
Yes, though the DEMO-CR95HF-A communicates to the STM32F103CB 32-bit microcontroller via the SPI bus by default, it can easily be changed to use a UART interface if required.
