eGalax_eMPIA Technology Incorporation (EETI) is an international enterprise headquartered in Taiwan and Silicon Valley. Established in December 2006, EETI emerged from the union of eGalax Inc., a pioneer in touch technology since 2000, and eMPIA Technology Corp., a leader in USB video capture devices and audio IC solutions since 2002. EETI operates through two main divisions: the Touch Business Unit (BU) and the Audio/Video IC BU. The Touch BU is set to be the world's sole provider capable of offering solutions across all four major touch panel technologies—resistive, capacitive, surface acoustic wave (SAW), and infrared (IR). Meanwhile, the Audio/Video IC BU focuses on developing embedded multifunctional peripheral imaging systems-on-chip (SOC) for the PC peripherals and consumer electronics sectors, incorporating advanced IP and various interface technologies. The engineers in both BUs are highly trained and experienced, contributing to EETI's mission to integrate the visions of its founding companies and establish itself as a top-tier global entity.
