The ATTINY406-MFR, manufactured by Microchip Technology, is a compact and power-efficient 8-bit microcontroller designed for embedded applications requiring high performance in a small footprint. Powered by an AVR® CPU running at up to 20 MHz, it features single-cycle I/O access and a two-level interrupt controller, ensuring speedy and efficient operation for a wide range of tasks. With 2/4 KB of self-programmable Flash memory, 64/128 bytes of EEPROM, and 128/256 bytes of SRAM, the microcontroller provides ample storage for code and data while offering long-term data retention and reliability. Its advanced power management includes three sleep modes, enabling energy-saving capabilities while maintaining critical functionalities.

It supports multiple voltage references, a configurable event system, and a custom logic unit with programmable look-up tables, making it highly versatile for various applications. Packaged in options such as 8-pin SOIC, 14-pin SOIC, or 20-pin VQFN, and operable across a temperature range of -40°C to 125°C, this microcontroller meets the demands of industrial and consumer use cases.
